As a Department Manager at Sellpy, you work closely together with our Site Manager and Department Managers. You will be responsible for leading and developing the staff group consisting of Team Leaders and warehouse employees in Rosersberg. This primarily means coaching of Team Leaders, as well as actively working to contribute to Sellpy's corporate culture by engaging and motivating the employees with new creative initiatives.
The warehouse in Rosersberg is kind of the gold mine where hundreds of thousands of pre-loved items arrive before they are delivered to our customers.
In short, you will
Actively work with the systematic work environment, which includes mapping, evaluating, and improving working methods and processes in collaboration with employees, union representatives, and safety representatives.
Follow-up and coaching of the team leaders.
Inspire and engage employees and actively contribute to Sellpy’s company culture.
Recruit new stars to your department/teams both internally and externally.
Become an expert on your department and continuously work to optimiseoptimize and improve the work processes
Optimisze workstations in your department to ensure that work can be carried out ergonomically and efficiently.
As Department Manager, you are a site function within Operation Management and report to the Site Manager in Rosersberg.
You need
Experience from previous roles with staff responsibility for larger workgroups
A results-oriented mindset and ability to work effectively to optimiseoptimize the staff group's results
Have the passion to inspire, motivate and engage employees to create a positive work climate
A strong sense of ownership to drive development and improvement initiatives related to your departments'departments work processes
Fluency in both the English and Swedish language
We value your personal qualities highly. Not least, in terms of your ability to inspire, motivate, and coach employees to contribute to building the warehouse's culture.
We are impressed if you have
Previous experience working in a warehouse environment, or with production of some kind.
A proven track record of initiatives creating a positive and fun work culture.
